Air Cushioned Barge - NCOC
BCTQ are proud to announce that we are providing independent consultancy services to “North Caspian Oil Company N.V.” (NCOC) for the design and build of an Air Cushioned Barge.
NCOC is the Operator of the North Caspian Project developing Kashagan field.
The contract has been secured following successful collaboration in 2017 when BCTQ assisted NCOC at the bid phase in the development of the technical scoring matrix and subsequent technical evaluation of tender designs.
BCTQ are now working closely with our Clients and other stakeholders involved in different aspects of the project. This vehicle is considered the world’s first self-propelled and marine classified ACB.
We will be assisting NCOC by providing naval architecture and marine engineering advice, plan approval services, yard audit support, weight control monitoring, testing reporting, performance evaluation and prototype recommendation guidance.
