NAVAL ARCHITECT - SOUTHAMPTON
BCTQ have a requirement for a qualified and suitably experienced Naval Architect ideally Chartered Engineer, in the following areas; concept and detailed design, naval architecture studies ( stability/ structural design, hull form development and performance), preparation / review of technical specifications, ship inspections, shipyard assessments and experience in technical project management of new builds/ refits for a range of ship types.

NAVAL ARCHITECT - LONDON
BCTQ are currently looking to recruit experienced Naval Architects for permanent positions in our London office.
The successful candidates will be required to perform a variety of tasks that may include project management, basic design to approval level and production design, plan approval activities, stability investigations i.e. performing
in-service lightweight surveys and inclining experiments, stability enhancement studies for existing vessels etc. Some of these activities take place world wide and therefore extensive foreign travel is not unusual.
BCTQ use a variety of software including NAPA, AutoCad, NavCad and Classification Society software as well as the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Appropriate training will be available to the successful candidates.
